Susan's Family Life

Susan Kramer lives in Barnes. Her husband John died in September 2006 after a year long battle against cancer. She has two grown-up children, Jonathan and Abigail.

Jonathan is an investment banker with Morgan Stanley in London. He is better known to Lib Dems as a campaigner for his mum. He and his wife, Charlotte also live in Barnes.

Abigail lives in San Francisco, California. She works for a project that helps disadvantaged teenage girls, and writes for a local newspaper. Recently, she served as a delegate to the NGO portion of the UN Conference on racism in South Africa.

At home there are two cats, Whittington and Nell Gwynn, who only break from running around the house to eat or sleep!

Susan and her family regularly attend theatre and opera performances. She also enjoys long walks along the Thames, rows on the river and occasionally curls up with a good mystery novel by the fire.
