Susan Kramer MP for Richmond Park
Hands off our back gardens!

Current Government rules treat back gardens as 'brownfield' sites, like an old industrial site - meaning that they are vulnerable to infill development.

Susan Kramer MP is launching a local campaign to get back gardens reclassified as greenfield - meaning that they would be safeguarded from development.

"Back gardens provide vital green corridors in our local area. They should be protected as greenfield sites rather than being designated as ripe for development," said Susan Kramer MP.

"It feels like we are seeing more and more cases locally where back gardens are being built on, with more houses or flats being packed onto the site than is appropriate for our area."

Susan is campaigning in Parliament to get the law changed to get back gardens classified as greenfield sites - meaning it would be much more difficult for them to be built on.
