Police estates strategy consultation is "deeply flawed" says Dee Doocey.

At a meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) today, Dee Doocey, who leads for the Liberal Democrats on policing in London, raised serious concerns about the way the Met's consultation on the future of police stations had been carried out. She described the consultation as deeply flawed and said, "The information from the consultation is meaningless, and cannot be used to determine the future of local police facilities."

Papers released on Tuesday evening by Mayor Boris Johnson's office show that up to £50,00 has been spent on the Forensic Audit panel that Mr Johnson set up, led by former newspaper editor Patience Wheatcroft, to investigate financial management and controls at the London Development Agency and the GLA.
