371 BUS SHOULD GO TO KINGSTON HOSPITAL12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 19th Oct 2007 A local petition calling for the 371 bus to go to Kingston Hospital has quickly gathered 500 signatures according to Susan Kramer, MP for Richmond Park. At the moment the bus which links Richmond, Ham and Kingston turns right as it leaves Park Road in Kingston even though quite a number of passengers need to get to Kingston Hospital. These passengers, often older or not feeling well, who are attending clinics or visiting relatives in hospital have a difficult walk up Kingston Hill and down Galsworthy Road. Susan Kramer said: "Residents from a large area of Richmond, Ham and Kingston need this bus to go to the hospital. It would only require a small detour. "I will be taking the petition to Transport for London. This change would ensure more bus usage and so help TfL as well as local people."
